For those interested in evangelizing the world with the good news, Challenged to GROW
July 10, 2018
For those interested in evangelizing the world with the good news, Challenged to GROW, gives a very unique perspective of two different Christian faith traditions. This book is a must read for any parent concerned about helping their children grow in their faith in a culture that is becoming more secular. The author, Richard Akins, is faced with a dilemma that many are now encountering where beliefs are being challenged; cultural distractions abound, and families are increasingly under duress. As a father whose family unity is being tested, the author is challenged to navigate the dual reality of living in both Evangelical and Catholic worlds. Seeking common ground for family unity while trying to live his life authentically, the author learns to address religious biases and semantics that tend to separate us. As a result of his experience, the author articulates the truth of Christ in a way that can better unite all Christians. Barry R. Smith
I didn't realize THAT about my own faith!!

Eye-opening, easy to read, first hand experience of the author and his family as he struggled to keep himself and his family engaged in their life-long faith. I learned A LOT about my own Catholic faith by reading about Richard's challenges. I would definitely recommend this book.
